Aleia

This custom-designed residence showcases how intelligent architectural planning can transform a compact 405sqm block into a spacious, light-filled family home. The project carefully balances density, functionality, and refined materiality to maximise both space and long-term value.

Despite the modest site footprint, the home accommodates five bedrooms and four bathrooms, demonstrating how thoughtful spatial organisation can deliver generous living on a small suburban lot. A striking double-height living area enhances volume and natural light, creating a dramatic yet welcoming heart to the home.

A sculptural sandstone block feature wall anchors the interior, introducing texture and permanence. Warm timber joinery paired with elegant Viola stone benchtops elevates the material palette, creating a sense of understated luxury. The open-plan dining and living areas connect seamlessly, allowing light and airflow to move freely through the home.

Aleia residence exemplifies our approach to small lot architecture in Brisbane — combining creative design, commercial awareness, and precise planning to deliver homes that feel expansive, functional, and timeless.
